Sony is been working for this new type of FCC to secure the PS3,as we know from the PSP scene,once Sony’s Hardware is hacked-hacked until they dont have any other choice-they release a new version that will counter attack everything.
As wirelessgoodness tells it, the FCC filing and diagram reveal very little about the new hardware. Of course CECH-3001A and CECH-3001B are speculated to be “hack proof.”

Yep, people are curious and they set out to see if they can make further use of technology for their own personal use. After all they legally bought the item [in the technology field]. This is going back to the GeoHotz vs SONY which idk if it is still going on.

Well the PSP 3000 model was released back in 2008, so it took roughly 3 years to get where it is today (good for the length of the model’s lifespan, bad with the piracy in the end). PS3 took 4 years to get hacked, thanks to Geohot’s unstoppable ego, and now that they’ve changed the ins and the outs of the hardware and service, it may get quiet in the homebrew front again.
